Pick the pal you have and the pal you want — the shortest breeding chain is found automatically.
In Palworld, the species that hatches from an egg is decided by the parents' hidden breeding power values, plus a set of special fixed combinations. Most breeding calculators only answer one question — "what do these two parents make?" — which leaves you clicking through page after page to plan a route to the pal you actually want. This tool works backwards instead: it treats every possible pairing as a step in a giant graph and searches the whole thing at once, so you immediately get the shortest possible chain from the pal you have to the pal you want.
Pick your starting pal on the left and your target on the right. The chain appears instantly: each step shows the pal you're carrying forward, the partner to pair it with, and the egg result. Partners are pals you'll need to obtain separately — catch them in the wild or breed them on the side. If you don't like a suggested partner, open "other partner options" on any step and click an alternative; the rest of the chain re-routes automatically while staying at the minimum number of steps.
A number of special pals — including legendaries like Jetragon, Paladius, Necromus and Frostallion — only ever hatch from two parents of their own species. No chain of ordinary breeding can produce them, so you'll need to catch one first. The tool tells you when your target is one of these, and also lists every direct parent combination that produces your target so you can see all of your options.
The breeding table is taken directly from the current version of the game's data files (all 299 pals, including every regional variant and the gender-dependent Katress and Wixen combos) rather than from hand-maintained lists, so results match exactly what the game does. The data version in use is shown below.
